General Customer Information
Turf Centre is the county's leading turf grower. We are a Member of
the Turfgrass Growers Association (the only Association in the UK dedicated to
the production of quality cultivated turf) and also the Turfgrass Producers International
(the only international turfgrass producers Association).
Turf Centre is the ONLY grower in the county to date to
offer locally grown TGA Certified Turf within our product range. Our turf rolls
are small enough to be manageable but large enough to allow swift installation.
All of our turf is designed from high rating cultivars (as independently tested
by the STRI), selected on the basis of enabling the production of a strong turf,
with dense sward, good colour and fineness of leaf. All of our turf is weed-treated.

Domestic Customers
Turf Centre produce the widest range of free literature available from
any turf grower in the county to date, which enables us to guide you every step
of the way prior to or post-purchase. We are only a phone call away and always
happy to help.
With clear instructions to guide you through the process
from ground preparation to initial aftercare, our installation guide will give
you the information required to initiate a beautiful lawn whilst the Turf Centre
Fact Sheet Series has been designed to encompass the topics we are most frequently
asked to advise upon by our customers.
The ordering, delivery and payment process for our products
couldn't be simpler:
1. Measure the area you wish to turf (length and width)
or fill with soil (length, width and depth)
2. Phone for an accurate quotation, to discuss the most
appropriate product(s) to suit your needs and to arrange a convenient day for
delivery (or collection)
3. Should you prefer not to wait in on the specified day
of delivery, you may arrange to pay by credit or debit card at the point of ordering
or else advise the tele-assistant where you wish to leave payment at the delivery
address (we advise that you do not leave cash in these circumstances)
4. Confirm your name, delivery address, contact telephone
number, order requirements, method of payment and request any literature or advice
you may require. Payment options are cash or cheque on delivery, or prepayment
by cash, cheque, MasterCard, Visa, Switch or Solo.
5. Your delivery will now be confirmed!

Landscapers
To meet the requirements of landscapers, Turf Centre is open
from 7.30am enabling early morning ordering and collections.

J1or J2 turf, suitable for most domestic lawns and general
landscaping applications.
Should you wish to collect a specific grade of turf, simply
phone the office to discuss your requirements and arrange a time for collection
and your turf will be cut to order. Should you require information on end user
aftercare for your customers with a newly installed Turf Centre lawn, let us know
so that it may be sent with the delivery note or else prepared for collection
from the depot.

Garden Centres & Nurseries
Turf Centre has been supplying direct to garden centres
and nurseries in Hampshire, West Sussex, Surrey and surrounding areas since we
were established in 1971.
We appreciate the shelf life for turf is limited so our
minimum order to qualify for free delivery is just 42mē (50
rolls) and we deliver to most areas of our market 6 days a
week. Alternatively, you are welcome to collect any
amount from our depot.
We employ a number of techniques to extend turf shelf life
and have produced literature, designed specifically for businesses like yours,
aimed at providing you with the information to continue our shelf life extension
strategy and maximise your return by minimising wastage. Indeed, many of our existing
customers have increased turf sales and virtually eliminated waste by taking our
turf and our advice!
