Established since 1971, Turf Centre Ltd, formerly Horndean Turf Co. Ltd, has over 30 years experience in the production of quality cultivated turf and due to our policy of continuous improvement, we believe our product and service will continue to keep us as the county's leading turf grower.

As a company, we invest heavily in ensuring we keep up to date with any development that might subsequently lead to an improvement in our product or service, and therefore in a benefit to our customers. The result of this investment is our use of the best seed available, the most modern and effective production techniques and turf that we and our customers can be proud of.

Turf Centre enjoys strong, lasting relationships with its customer base for the following reasons:

• We actually grow ALL the turf we supply so we know all there is to know about the product we give our customers and so in turn do they;
• We grow our turf on free-draining sandy soils and have extensive irrigation to ensure year-round availability;
• To date, we are the only grower in the county to offer locally grown TGA Certified Turf within our range;
• We provide our customers with a fixed point of contact so should they need any advice, they know they can call us direct and access the knowledge of professional turf growers;
• We listen to our customers, build long lasting relationships with them and work closely with them to identify their needs, enabling us to be proactive in working to meet their requirements;
• In a day when people value their security, a clearly identifiable delivery driver affords our customers the reassurance that the people they expect to arrive upon their doorstep are the same as those who actually do;
• Our depot is open from early morning until the evening so whether customers require our advice or wish to organise a collection or delivery the opportunity to do so before leaving for work is there - a particularly useful service for landscapers and other early risers;
• And finally but very importantly, because we grow, harvest and deliver our turf ourselves, our customers receive the product as it is best supplied - fresh!

Turf Centre are founder Members of the Turfgrass Growers Association (TGA), the only UK Association dedicated to the production of quality cultivated turfgrass, and have been Members of Turfgrass Producers International, the only international turfgrass growers Association, for 24 years.
